Why We Speak
Speaking and events are a vital part of our ministry and mission. We count it a privilege to share what God is doing in Northern Thailand, how coffee is changing lives, and to invite others to join us. Both supporting the Seed of Hope Project and purchasing coffee play a vital role in this mission — together they create lasting impact for children, families, and farmers.
How We Partner

Church Services or Events
Don is available to speak and share The Coffee Parable, a message anchored in 1 Peter 1 that uses the process of the coffee bean to illustrate the Christian journey of faith, growth, and refinement. We can host coffee and provide coffee, share briefly, or participate in the entire worship service. A 5-minute video is also available that clearly communicates our story. Alongside this, we share about Seed of Hope and P-REX Coffee and the impact each is making in both the U.S. and Thailand.

Community and Partner Events
We host coffee tastings, educational sessions, and fundraisers that connect groups to the mission and show how every bag of coffee makes a tangible difference.

Individual and Church Relationships
We value long-term relationships built through prayer, financial support, and coffee purchases that sustain families in Northern Thailand and strengthen the mission of Seed of Hope.
We are flexible and work to make each service or event fit the needs of the church or group we are partnering with.
Retreats and Conferences
Both Don and Susan are available to share at men’s and women’s retreats, marriage conferences, and church gatherings. Together, they bring a Christ-centered message of hope through life experiences, including seminars on lament, child loss, and finding peace in Christ. These settings provide space for deeper connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth.

We have been speaking in church and at events for 30 years. In addition, Don served in Pastoral ministry for 24 years as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor.

We also desire to serve P-REX Coffee and share more fully about our ministry partnership with Seed of Hope and the amazing work the Lord is doing in Northern Thailand.

Our church family really enjoyed Don and Susan when they came to speak at our annual marriage retreat in February 2024. We found them to be very engaging and relatable speakers. They were truly genuine and it showed through their conversations with people from our fellowship, teaching the Bible together, and with the personal stories they shared with our congregation. It was very clear that they loved each other deeply and their marriage is an example for believers in Christ to emulate. We loved the lighthearted, humble, and tender way they interacted with each other. They also were transparent about the hardship and testing they had endured together.
